Teaching in a classroom with 30 or more children can be incredibly exhausting. The sheer number of students makes it challenging to dedicate enough time to truly get to know each individual, understand their unique wants and needs, and identify any misconceptions or gaps in their learning.
Unfortunately, the ongoing hustle and bustle of school life often takes precedence over these important aspects of education. I often found myself overwhelmed with paperwork, administrative tasks, and the pressure of preparing students for standardized tests.
As a teacher, I believe that fostering a strong connection with students is crucial for their learning development. However, in a large classroom setting, it becomes increasingly difficult to provide the personalized attention and support that each student deserves.
Starting my tutoring business allowed me to continue to do what I love: teach. But the impact on a personal level became so much clearer; I finally have the opportunity to connect with students on a deeper level. It's not just about imparting knowledge, but about building relationships and helping them reach their full potential.
Through tutoring, I have witnessed the transformation in students' confidence and academic performance. It's incredibly rewarding to see them grow and succeed, knowing that I played a part in their educational journey.
Join me on my teaching journey!
I love teaching and have been doing so since 2010 in various schools. However, I wanted to have a bigger impact on individuals and provide a more personalized learning experience. This desire led me to set up my own tuition business.
Through my tuition business, I have gained more autonomy in designing and delivering lessons tailored to each student's needs. This has allowed me to cater to their specific learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses, ensuring optimal progress.
Additionally, having direct contact with parents and students has been invaluable. It enables me to establish a strong partnership with parents, keeping them involved in their child's education and progress.
Regular communication ensures that we can work together to address any concerns and further support the student's learning journey.
It's full steam ahead for teaching!
